Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
MALTRIN® maltodextrins and corn syrup solids inhibit sugar crystallization, improve the chewiness of soft candies and lengthen the shelf life of hard candies by inhibiting cold flow. They are also effective binders in direct compression candy tablet applications.

Starches
PURE-COTE® modified food starches are excellent film-forming starches. When combined in aqueous solutions with MALTRIN® maltodextrins, they form transparent coatings to increase shelf life, prevent scuffing on chocolates, adhere particulates or provide an eye appealing shine without the use of organic solvents.

PURE-SET® modified food starches are designed for optimal performance in starch jelly candy manufacture. They combine the essential attributes of low hot syrup viscosity for easy depositing with firm set to deliver the necessary chewiness and flavor delivery.

PURE-GEL® modified food starches can be added to high sugar systems with good results because of their low gelatinization temperatures. They can increase chewiness and extend shelf life without resulting in increased hardness.
