Grain Processing Corporation's (GPC) acid-modified starches are ideal for use on the paper machine calender stack and size-press. GPC's acid-modified starches are fully compatible with any size press. Low solids application of these products with controlled viscosity on paper and linerboard will reduce linting, improve fiber lay, increase burst, tensile, ring crush, surface strength and erasability. The variety of products available in conjunction with the controlled viscosity of our manufacturing process and the strength of corn starch, will greatly enhance the quality of your product. The starch will improve the flexographic printing quality, smoothness and reduce curl.
