Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
MALTRIN® maltodextrins and corn syrup solids are used to control sweetness, manage moisture and improve mouthfeel in cough drops and throat lozenges. They inhibit sugar crystallization which increases shelf life. By varying the dextrose equivalence, pliability can be added to the lozenge.
