Starches
The PURE-DENT^® family of corn starches offer the formulator a wide variety of choices. Products range from unmodified corn starch with a natural color to pure, white USP topical starches to specialty, highly absorbent starches. These starches are used as the base for dusting powders either alone or in combination with other ingredients like talc. The powder formulations range from baby powder to body powder to foot powder. PURE-DENT^® Topical Starches USP are designed for medicated body and foot powders where the specification of a pharmaceutical starch is required.
