Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
Personal wash products are very popular. A low viscosity ingredient that helps build body and texture is an important addition to a body wash formulation. MALTRIN® maltodextrins are used for this purpose along with creating a short texture and smooth skinfeel. They do not require heat for processing and are mild and nonirritating.
Starches
PURE-GEL® modified starches contribute stable viscosity to personal wash products. Along with this stable viscosity comes a contribution to emulsion stability. These thickeners provide product and process stability where there is heat, acid, shear, ionic or freeze-thaw stress on the product. The smooth, short texture makes dispensing the finished product easy for the consumer. Zeina® modified starch is used to modify the rheological properties of body washes and shower gels. Both starch polymers contribute to the foam stability of the personal wash products.
