Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
MALTRIN® and MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins are ideal bulking and carrying agents for dry blended bath products. There are a wide variety of particle sizes and bulk densities available to allow the formulator to select the best product for their particular application. MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins are instantly soluble and have great flow properties, so they are an excellent choice in this type of product.
Starches
PURE-DENT® corn starches act as absorbents in powder formulations. The PURE-DENT® line of starches offers the formulator a range of absorbency choices. They are also used as carriers of oils and aqueous ingredients, turning an oily or sticky active into a powder that can be blended into powder formulations.
