Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
The most important aspect of a tablet or compressed product is its binder. MALTRIN® and MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins are great binders and are used to improve hardness and friability in tablets and compressed products. They are inert ingredients which allow them to be excellent bulking agents. They are water soluble and can dissolve easily in the shower or bath.
Starches
PURE-DENT® starches are basic ingredients when compressing tablets, balls and other compressed products. They function as a combination binder/filler/carrier/disintegrant while being cost-effective ingredients. Newer, highly absorbent PURE-DENT® starches enhance disintegration/ dissolution properties in bath and shower tablets. They also are very effective carriers of oils and sticky aqueous ingredients into tablets.
