MALTRIN^® maltodextrins and corn syrup solids are effective binders in roller compaction due to their excellent compressibility. The wide range of DE and particle size available allows the formulator control over the compaction, hygroscopicity and solubility of the finished granules.

Starches
PURE-DENT^® NF starches are the binders of choice in roller compaction applications due to their combined compressibility, low hygroscopicity and good disintegration properties. They are fine, white powders and are ideal for use in dry granulations, especially when white tablets are involved.
