Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
MALTRIN® maltodextrins and corn syrup solids are readily digestible, low-residue glucose polymers providing a carbohydrate source for hospital tube feeding diets, geriatric formulas, infant formulas, nutritional beverages and rehydration products. They regulate osmolality, sweetness and viscosity while providing maximum energy at body osmolality.
Starches
The desired viscosity for medical nutritional products, along with improved stability, is achieved by adding small amounts of PURE-COTE® and PURE-GEL® modified starches.
Fibers
The fine particle size of TruBran® corn bran provides a powder that is easy to incorporate into nutritional beverages to achieve a “good” source of fiber claim. The neutral flavor of the fiber does not interfere with the characteristics of the finished product.
