Maltodextrins + corn syrup solids
MALTRIN® maltodextrins help build solids in soft chew products and provide a readily digestible carbohydrate source for nutritional chews. These carbohydrates offer minimal sweetness and high solubility while presenting a smooth, creamy mouthfeel mimicking fat.
Starches
Texture, firmness and mouthfeel are very important when formulating a soft chew product. PURE-GEL® modified starch NF provides a soft, chewable texture without compromising the firmness of the chew. The clean flavor profile does not detract from added flavors.
Fibers
The fine particle size of F75M allows easy incorporation into nutritional soft chews to provide a "good" source of fiber. The characteristics of the finished product are not impacted by using this fiber since it has a neutral flavor.
