GPC has a broadly diversified line of products, mainly derived from nature’s abundance: corn. We utilize a wet milling process to efficiently separate the corn into its various components: starch, protein, fiber and germ. The starch fraction is used to produce our primary products that serve a wide variety of industries, including food, ethyl alcohol, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical, personal care and industrial starch. The remaining protein and fiber fractions are used to produce co-products or animal feed. The co-products are used as a nutrition source in the livestock and pet food industries. GPC utilizes the entire renewable corn kernel to produce our ingredients. Any remaining streams are converted to energy (biogas). The biogas is substituted for natural gas to provide process heat and lower energy costs.
