Non-GM Corn Gluten Meal Non-GM Corn Gluten Feed

GPC Non-GM corn gluten meal is a rich, golden yellow meal that contains 60 percent protein. It’s useful in many feed formulations as a Non-GM source of protein. Because our Non-GM corn gluten meal is an Identity Preserved (IP) product, its sourcing is governed by rigorous protocols which begin at the farm level.

GPC contracts directly with farmers and elevators, buying only corn that has not been grown using biotechnology. Then before corn enters our facility, proper documentation from the carrier and grower ensuring its source must be supplied. According to IP protocols, this includes a signed certificate of handling from the delivering carrier and producer stating the corn is IP and that it has never been comingled with genetically modified corn.

After documentation verification, one further step is taken to validate the corn is IP. Using the Envirologix Quick Comb (ELISA) procedure, the corn is tested to screen for bioengineered genetic modifications. Only corn that meets all the necessary GPC IP requirements is accepted for processing. Each load of IP-verified corn is given a signed certificate of origin, including producer, location, seed corn brand and hybrid number.

Identity Preserved corn product is always kept segregated in special bins and processed separately from regular corn to preserve its identity. Special lot numbers designate the product’s Identity Preserved status. From seed to product, the journey of GPC Non-GM corn gluten meal is meticulously documented. Available in bulk, IP corn gluten meal can be delivered via truck or railcar.

GPC has Non-GM loose corn gluten feed available in bulk railcars from our Muscatine, Iowa, location. GPC’s corn gluten feed is of high quality – typically running approximately 19% protein – and mixes well into many ration formulations requiring a Non-GM source of protein
and fiber.

Grain Processing Corporation has a long-standing history of providing high-quality Non-GM products for our customers across the industry. We employ an Identity Preservation (IP) program with rigorous protocols that includes proper documentation from the grower all the way through to the delivering carrier that brings us the corn. This documentation ensures the product has been segregated throughout the growing season and handling process until it reaches our facility. Upon verification of proper documentation, each truck of corn is sampled and tested using Envirologix Quick Comb (ELISA method) to screen for bioengineered genetic material in the corn. If and when the corn meets all the needed requirements, a signed certificate of origin including the producer, location, seed corn brand and hybrid number is generated and the corn is placed into segregated bins at our facility in Muscatine. We process this IP corn separately from regular corn and issue special lot numbers designating the products as Identity Preserved. All finished products, including Non-GM Corn Gluten Feed, are then stored separately from regular products prior to shipping to preserve the Non-GM identity of the product. We look forward to your inquiries regarding GPC’s Non-GM Corn Gluten Feed.
