High-Fiber Gluten-Free Snack Mix

Try a sample of our savory High-Fiber Gluten-Free Snack Mix containing chickpea puffs and crackers formulated with our chickpea and soy flours. These puffs and crackers provide a versatile snack base that can be used in both savory and sweet combinations. They can be mixed with a myriad of other ingredients to provide a healthy or indulgent treat. 

The chickpea puffs contain CP100-S steamed chickpea flour as well as PURE-DENT® corn starch. Our chickpea flour not only provides a gluten-free base and a clean flavor but also adds more protein than traditional wheat flour. PURE-DENT® corn starch assists with the expansion and the texture of the puffs.

The crackers are formulated with ROSY100 full-fat roasted soy flour, CP100-S steamed chickpea flour, and FYBRIN® RS food starch-modified, a resistant starch. Our soy and chickpea flours work together to add protein as well as provide a clean, nutty flavor to the cracker. FYBRIN® RS adds fiber while helping reduce calories. INSTANT PURE-COTE® food starch-modified is also used in the cracker to improve crispness and crunchiness while enhancing durability.

Turmeric Latte

The use of turmeric as more than a cooking spice has become very popular among the health-conscious population. It can be found in many items including beverages. GPC has formulated a Turmeric Latte Dry Mix that highlights the versatility of our MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins. This formula contains two different MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins which are used as dispersion aids for reconstitution and as a plating agent.

Liquid honey, which is very sticky and difficult to work with, is plated on a mix of two different MALTRIN QD® maltodextrins and carried into this formulation as a dry powder, making it much easier to mix in with the other dry ingredients. By using two different DE maltodextrins, the sweetness level was able to be controlled as well as providing a positive impact on mouthfeel. FYBRIN® RS resistant starch was also used in this formulation to add fiber without negatively affecting the intended flavor.
